Roster Upload and Player Waivers

All teams must have rosters uploaded and all player waivers signed on Team Snap no later than 10pm Nov 30 to be eligible to play. Coaches/Managers must fill out roster details and send to parents to fill out and sign online.

Check in Policy before first game

Each team must check in with the on site Director 30 minutes before their first game. The Director will have the roster printed out. No player ID or picture is required for this event. Each player will receive a wristband. All players MUST have wristbands on in order to play. Refs will check players before each game.

Spectator Fee

There is a $5 spectator fee. Players must wear wristbands to be eligible to play.

Coaches and managers receive a free wristband and children 5 and under are free.

Round Robin Play

- 3 points for a win

- 1 point for a tie

Rules Grades 1-2

FIFA rules with the exceptions below:

- Game time will be two 24 min halves.

- No slide tackling

- No heading

- No keeper pass back rule

Cheat sheet below on the Futsal rules

- Goal keeper

o No goal kicks, but rather goal throws. Keeper must throw the ball out

of the arc for it to be in play

- Fouls

o After 5 fouls in a half, the 6th foul is a free kick for the opposing team

at the 2nd penalty marker (10 meters)

- Subs

o Subs can be on the fly at ant time during the game

o The player on the court must come completely off the court before the

sub can go on and sub at the sub zone only

- Kick ins

o No throw ins. There are kick ins. The ball must be on or just behind

the line and stopped. An illegal kick in (Moving ball, ball or foot on the

court or ball at a long distance behind the line) results in one redo and

then the next time to goes to the other team

o Players defending must be at least 5 meters away from the ball

- Free kicks

o Players defending must be at least 5 meters away from the ball

- Kick off

o Players must be 3 meters away and ball must go forward

- Penalty Kicks

o A penalty kick is taken from the top of the arc (Which is 6 meters from

the goal line)

- Equipment

o Futsal shoes, flat-soled shoes, or sneakers are the only acceptable

footwear. (No cleats of turf shoes are permitted)

- The ball

o For players U12 and under, they use a size 3 ball

o For players U13 and older, they use a size 4 ball

- The players

o There are 4 field players on the court at one time plus a keeper (5v5)

- Halftime

o Teams switch benches at half time

be in play and the keeper has 4 seconds to release the ball. After 4 seconds,

the whistle blows and the opponents are awarded an indirect free kick at the

top of the arc)

o Goal Keeper has 4 seconds on the ball max at all times

o Goal keeper can only possess the ball once a possession and for no more

than 4 seconds unless he is over the half way line

§ Once he is over, he is considered a field player. However, if he

crosses back over the half and touches the ball (If he already touched

it), it would be a indirect free kick for the opponent.
